But it paid off today. I know MANY of you are on the hunt for the "First Day Of" chalkboards, and I had some good luck today and found 5!!!! My big goal when I started this blog was to share ideas and collaborate with teachers to make our lives a little easier, and a little happier. Therefore, it's GIVEAWAY time! I bought all 5 of the boards, and I will give each one away to 5 lucky followers! There's a few things you can do on the giveaway to get your name in the pot more than once.

ReplyDeleteFirst, I am sorry if my comment appears more than once! My computer is acting very out of control! I was having trouble getting anything to post.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part of teaching is seeing how the kids apply lessons and concepts in class.I love how my prekinders work and play in centers and create with each other and teach each other. I love how once in small groups one of my kiddos encouraged a friend who was having trouble and praising when they tried.
I love watching their face "light up" when they finally get it/ learn something that was hard for them. It melts my heart to see them come in smiling eager to learn at the beginning of each class. I love making them laugh and feel safe to take chances as well as safe from harm. I also love making great memories with them- both for them and for me!.

ReplyDeleteMy name is Linda and one of my favorite parts of teaching, well wait a minute last year was my first official year, so my favorite part was watching my kindergarteners come in the beginning of the year trying to get all of the alphabet correct and leaving in June so excited to read to a partner or the class at the end of the day. I also partnered with the fifth grade class and my kinders were so excited to "read" to their buddies at our ice cream party in June.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it awesome that they come in barely knowing letters and leave reading?! So cool!
